The top loading USB slot is the stuff of genius compared to other power sources.It works. Compact. The design does not take up multiple slots on the power strip. I use it for my Sansa View that I keep plugged in a running all day at the office. I start and end the day with a fully charged View.Bit pricey but worth it for the utility of being compact and it works.
I use this to hook up and charge just about everyting that I have that uses a USB port for charging. Sansa, iPod, GPS. It charges them all and with lightening speed. Easily five or more times faster than hooking the device up to a USB source on a computer.
I wanted something portable that would recharge my Sansa 260 MP3 player. I needed this for a trip and couldn't wait. NO LIGHT.
I discovered that I had to update the firmware for my player before I could even use the product. The rep said that I could send it to them for an exchange. This item didn't meet my expectations.
I contacted the company's customer service. Once that was done and I connect the player to the charger, nothing happened. There is an indicator light which should have come on when charging.
NOT WORTH IT. I wouldn't recommend this product.
the plug didn't even work properly. it didn't charge properly. it was cheaply manufactured, and, in essence, a piece of junk
The Macally USB AC Charger for SanDisk MP3 Players that I purchased worked fine for a short period of time, then the cheap construction allowed the slot to be pushed inside the charger, not flush with or attached to the body, so it could not be used. Plain poor quality.
